Reproductive Mental Health

Participate in Our Research

We are actively recruiting participants for studies investigating the links between reproductive hormones and mental health. Your participation can help advance our understanding of these conditions and improve care for future generations:

PreDDICT

PreDDICT Study - This study aims to investigate the genetic and environmental factors associated with Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder (PMDD) and severe Premenstrual Syndrome (PMS).

Mums and Mental Health

Mums and Mental Health (MAM) Study - We are collecting information from anyone who has experienced pregnancy in order to learn more about severe mental illness during pregnancy and following childbirth. By collecting data from a diverse range of people, we hope to learn more about the causes and risk factors of severe mental illness and improve treatments and support.

Menopause Questionnaire

We are currently preparing a menopause questionnaire to capture people’s experiences and symptoms during perimenopause. The questionnaire will be open to anyone who’s ever experienced periods and is over the age of 35. We are hoping to receive all neccessary approvals soon to launch the questionnaire later in 2026.

What does taking part look like?

Our studies are hosted online on the REDCap platform, and normally take between 20-30 minutes to complete. For the PreDDICT and MaM studies, we are also requesting for some people to complete a genetic sample through a spit kit which is sent directly to you. You can see exactly how this happens in this video:
